Australia, Everything, Everywhere, All at Once
This print is an interpretive landscape drawing of Australia. I have heard it said ‘there is nothing in the outback’, but I see fantastic weather, fossils, history, enormous sky, endless horizons and life. I see seas of living reefs, currents, volcanoes, trenches, striations and more pre-history and life. I’ve tried to capture every inch in this drawing. It is Australia from different view points, times and eons. It is Australia, Everything, Everywhere, All at Once.
The print is a loose map of Australia and shows many iconic features, all woven together to form a unique patterned design. These features include: Uluru, the Termite Mounds of WA, Nigaloo and Barrier Reef, Winton Dinosaurs, the extinct Eromanga Sea, the Murray Darling Basin, the dunes of the Munga-Thirri National Park (Simpson Desert), the Tropics, Blue Mountains and just a few other things.
Towns included are: Sydney, Brisbane, Rocky, Cairns, Emerald, Cloncurry, Mt Isa, Darwin, Port Headland, Katherine, Geraldton, Perth, Alice Springs, Adelaide, Melbourne, Shepparton, Dubbo and others.
The artwork is hand drawn by me and printed professionally using archival inks on archival art paper resulting in crisp, bright colours. Deliveries will be in a sturdy cardboard tube. It does not come framed.
